Watermelon Banana Smoothie with Yogurt Recipe

Do you want something quick and healthy for breakfast?  Moms, summer break is almost over. You'll soon have even busier mornings. You might want to add this Watermelon Banana Smoothie to your repertoire. It is simple to make, and it's incredibly delicious.  Your kids will love it - and you will love it too!

Ingredients


  • 1 cup watermelon, chopped

  • 1½ cup banana, peel and sliced

  • 1 cup yogurt, vanilla flavor

Directions


  1. Place all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Divide smoothies into indicated number of freezer bags. Label and lay flat to freeze.

You can also prepare all the ingredients in advance, place the chopped watermelon and sliced banana in a Ziploc bag, then freeze.

You can just grab the bag, thaw and blend.  It's perfect for when you don't have the time to prepare anything else. It's delicious and healthy too!
