How to Make Classic Homemade Waffles
What’s golden brown on the outside, but oh-so-soft-and-yummy on the inside? Waffles! Classic waffles are sweetened with vanilla, so they’re good enough to eat with just butter or syrup. They also pairs well with everyone’s favorite toppings. So, how do you make classic homemade waffles?
- 1 egg
- 1 cups all-purpose flour
- 7 fluid ounces milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 tbsp white sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Preheat waffle iron.
- Beat egg in a bowl until fluffy.
- Add in flour, milk, vegetable oil, sugar, baking powder, salt, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
- Spray waffle iron with nonstick cooking spray.
- Pour just the right amount of mix onto waffle iron.
- Cook until golden brown.
